Move well at midlife and beyond
How you feel in your body can change from one day to the next, especially at midlife. I can help you find ways to move that meet you where you are.
Hi, I’m Laura. I’ve been teaching yoga and movement for over 20 years, helping women get more from movement without making it another thing to get “right”.
Strength, balance, bone health and brain health are all important as we age. But knowing that doesn’t mean forcing yourself through the workout you think you “should” be doing, especially if you haven’t slept well or your body is feeling a bit achy.
In my classes, you don’t have to choose between pushing through and doing nothing. We can add more challenge when there’s more in the tank. Keep things simple when you’re running low. And make time for rest without feeling like you should be doing something else.
My teaching is informed by movement science and draws from yoga, functional movement, breath work and myofascial release. We adapt to what you need as we go.
Because the point isn’t to get really good at exercise. It’s to keep you doing the things you love.
